This 1 day course takes you through the basics of GoldMine.

Audience

This course is designed for end users. It assumes you are a beginner with GoldMine but that you are familiar with the Microsoft Windows operating system and can manipulate windows and launch and close applications. Simple instructions such as clicking Next or OK typically are implied rather than expressly stated in the material.

In This Course

The course material created for GoldMine Fundamentals training is designed as a training and reference manual including a discussion of software functionality. Following the discussion are step-by-step procedures. Lessons typically are presented in a logical, task-oriented sequence which more closely replicates business practices. The GoldMine Fundamentals course includes the following chapters:

Chapter 1: Get to Know GoldMine

 

Chapter 5: Communication Tools

Review GoldMine's key features and navigate the work area.

 

Use the tools of e-mail and mail merge to communicate with customers and prospects.

Chapter 2: Create Contact Records

 

Chapter 6: The GoldMine Team

Add and work with contacts by entering new and additional contacts, alerts, details and referrals, and an assortment of other activities.

 

Learn how to use the features of GoldMine to communicate with your colleagues in the home office, remote offices, or when traveling, and develop the Information Center where you can build an archive of information.

Chapter 3: Your Electronic Agenda

 

Chapter 7: Introduction to GoldMine Processes

Schedule activities, create appointments on the calendar, use the Activity List, and, view and complete activities.

 

An introduction to the Opportunity and Project Managers, Automated Processes, and GoldMine standard reports.

Chapter 4: Search for Contacts and Organize Subsets of Data

 

Chapter 8: Customize Your Work Area

Search for contacts using the Contact Search Center, indexed fields, details, text, and go-to. Leam to activate and release predefined filters and groups from the Contact Search Center and the Filters and Groups dialog box. Organize sets of data by building and activating organizational charts.
